On the 4th day we finally found our way home and spent the afternoon with family. My aunt, cousin and sister joined us for a trip to the lanes where some of us had a strong showing, and others needed a bit more practice.
We had a fantastic time getting in our exercise, okay I sat, read my book, and talked so real exercise for me, on this chilly day. And, of course, I talked, watched, and put a dent, huge, ginormous even, in the reading of my book. The cover of this book was perfect for the black light atmosphere and the story was every bit as captivating.
If you find yourself at a loss of how to stay active during the cold months, I highly recommend bowling. You can let the kids take over the lane and participate or get some reading in. Now matter what it will be an enjoyable family experience.

Dominick (Growl and Prowl Book 1)
Published to Amazon on October 5, 2021
Author Eve Langlais
When she called him a pussycat, she didn’t mean it literally. There comes a time in every man’s life where he’s got to choose: settle down or get smacked by his mom for not giving her grandbabies. After all, he’s not getting any younger, although age isn’t why he retired from the military. After the incident they had no choice but to medically discharge him. Probably for the best because something inside him is struggling to break free. Adrift and on the prowl, he runs into his high school crush, Anika. She’s still as beautiful as before, meaning of course he puts his foot in his mouth, down his throat, and out his… Yeah, he’s still an idiot around her. He can’t help himself despite knowing he should stay away. The blackouts have started up again, resulting in a loss of clothes and a raw diet. Discovering he's a giant freaking cat isn’t easy to accept, especially since his family’s idea of sympathy is offering him a can of tuna and dangling a string. They won’t laugh for long once they realize he can’t control the beast. Only love can tame him.

More than family
What an exciting new take on shifters! I love how Dominick is not exactly the nicest guy or the most eloquent speaker, we’re talking a veteran with full on potty mouth and bad attitude, but Anika still gives him a chance. But not without showing him that she deserves respect. These two characters were perfect for each other and I love how they get their HEA. The author added an extra element to the story by an unrevealed secret that still manages to surface and an ex who doesn’t understand the word no. This book is perfect for the beach or a snow day and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

New York Times and USA Today Bestseller Eve Langlais is a Canadian author who loves to write hot romance. She likes to blame her twisted imagination for her sarcastic sense of humor which tends to heavily influence her stories. She enjoys writing about strong alpha males, and shifters. Lots of big, overprotective shifters that need the right woman to temper their wild side--and unleash the lover. She loves to write, and while she might not always know what her mind is going to come up with next, she does promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because she believes in a happily ever after.
