OMG!!!!! The girls and I had the most fantastic experience today! Well, this weekend really, but I will tell you more about that later. This morning we were at the doors of The Franklin Institute at 9:30, when they opened, to board the Hogwarts Express and start our journey through the Harry Potter: The Exhibition. We traveled as VIP guests on this journey and viewed the houses, the sets, the costumes and so much more on our way.
There were so many things to see and do that it was a little daunting at first, but just keep circling to the right and you will find your way past potions, boggarts, and herbology to Hargett’s hut. From there we took a time hop to the cupboard under the stars, then onto the Chamber of Secrets, we even caught a glimpse of Umbridge’s office and a little bit of everything in between.
This exhibit has something for everyone, young or old, and no matter how far you got into the series. You will not be disappointed with the sounds and sights of Hogwarts. I have to give a big shout out to the staff who were just as excited for us to be there as we were to go; each person was shining and happy and made the experience that much better.
Did you know that you are able to enjoy the rest of the institute after you leave Harry Potter? No, well we didn’t do everything, but we got to see the pendulum and we were able to see Franklin in all his seated glory. This is a once in a lifetime experience that you are going to want to see, but you better hurry as the exhibit closes on September 18, 2022.
I even had the perfect book to take with me on the journey! It is one that I have re-read more than is probably recommended, but I couldn’t think of anyone that I wanted to take with me than this quirky little geeky nerd. This author actually has the next book in the series set to come out on August 30, 2022, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B4MBQH5Y so I was due for a re-read anyway.
From the very beginning I have loved Meryn and her band of followers; with each new book the author has brought me more characters to love and brought us closer to the evil that is trying to destroy a way of life. I think that this is one of my favorites. Meryn has found another kindred soul, who also has a side job as a coffee goddess, don’t we all need one of those? In typical Meryn fashion she takes the City of Eternal Sun by storm, wreaking havoc and maybe getting ever closer to the final battle. (I do hope this is not going to be like Charmed and all of the main characters sacrifice it all for the greater good)
Whether you are taking a portkey to Hogwarts or you are simply riding the train, you are going to want to grab this book visit the exhibit as each is an experience like no other.
Happy Reading

Author Alanea Alder
For thousands of years Oron Vi’Eirson has lived each day trying to keep the pain and devastation caused by his family from hurting his precious baby brother. But despite his best efforts his past has come back to haunt him, placing not only Darian and Amelia in harm’s way, but also his newly found mate.
Isabelle Campbell, or as she likes to be called, Izzy, is a mess. She knows this. It’s never intentional, but somehow her curiosity always seems to run away from her. When her latest gaffe lands her homeless and fired from her favorite barista job she is left little choice but to accept the kindness of some of her favorite customers, little did she know that by doing so, she would find herself starting the biggest adventure of her life!
With kindred spirit Meryn at her side, Izzy takes on the entire fae city to protect the heart of the kindest man she has ever met. If the golden fae think they can get away with hurting her mate, they are sorely mistaken. After all, her new friend likes to electrocute people.
When facing your greatest fear means facing your family, is there any escape? Can Izzy help Oron stand against all odds?
Official published review:
Totally worth staying up all night to read!
The author did not disappoint with this newest addition to her Bewitched and Bewildered series. We meet some new people and of course still have our old friends. It’s filled with Meryn moments and a lot of questions are answered while more are brought up. As always their is a HEA and the teaser of her next book. I can’t wait to read the next installment! But in the meantime I will continue to re-read the available books again and again.

Alanea Alder started writing at a very young age, some of her first scribblings are treasured in a keepsake box and written in green marker. She started when she was still in grade school and continued on through college. A Jack of All Trades, Alanea loves to read. Her bookcase is an eclectic mess ranging from Japanese Kanji flashcards to a Microbiology study guide. Her fiction section is just as varied from the whimsical Louisa May Alcott to the steamy scenes of Laurel K Hamilton. Above all else and before she was a writer, she will always be an avid reader. She absolutely loves to hear from her readers so don’t hesitate to reach out via the contact form or on Facebook. Her promise to her readers “If you keep reading, I’ll keep writing!” Author’s Website: https://alaneaalder.com/ Author’s Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/authoralaneaalder/ Author’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alaneaalder/ Author’s Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Alanea-Alder/e/B00D80G86O Author’s Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/7076304.Alanea_Alder Author’s BookBub: https://www.bookbub.com/authors/alanea-alder
