Unfortunately, some authors tend to fall to the end of my ‘To be read’ pile because they get lost in the shine of my go to re-reads. I find this no truer than when I become overwhelmed with life and the expectations thrust upon me. But then again, sometimes I read books that I do not realize who the author is until the end of the year and the numbers are run. This is one of those authors. I had no idea that I had read so many of her books in 2023 until the numbers were run.
This author is one of my go-to authors when it comes to dark romance. She has that knack to be able to walk in the contemporary, fantasy, and paranormal world. Each book has an angsty alpha male who is in charge and is unwilling to hand over the reins, and a woman who is willing to push the boundaries to break into his shuttered heart. Sometimes these books may be hard to read, but more often than not they just draw you in until the very end. If you like dark romance and you have not tried out this author, you are missing out.
